have been shooting underwater since I took my first open water dive in 1986. My goal in underwater photography is to tell the story of the underwater world through photographs. I primarily dive the waters off the California Coast and Maui, Hawaii. Some of my most memorable locations to dive have been Pt. Sur, Pt. Lobos Reserve, Carmel Bay, Farallon Islands, Molokini Crater and Isle Guadalupe.

EQUIPMENT - I started using a Nikonos V to bring back images of the underwater world and eventually moved to an Aquatica housing for a Canon F1n. Finally in 2004 I moved to digital and now shoot with a Canon 1Ds Mark II in a Seacam housing with Inon strobes.
Inon, the maker of my underwater strobes has me featured as their "Artist of The Month" May 2006

They offer a unique dive trip on Wednesdays that caters to the experienced diver/photographer. They also offer other dive packages that are led by the same great staff. ERDA has been my choice for boat based diving on Maui for the last 16 years.
