For the second weekend in a row, I was back on the Mendocino Coast, this time on the North Coast near the town of Westport. The weather was variable with showers at night and mostly cloudy days with no wind. The ocean was amazingly calm where the gray sky melted into the gray ocean. The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens in Fort Bragg is great place for photography, especially on an overcast day. In April and May the rhododendrons are in peak bloom, you could spend an entire day exploring the trails here.
