Deschutes River of Central Oregon is home to many diverse animals, below are a bobcat, ground squirrel and river otter. Photos were taken at the High Desert Museum in Bend, Oregon. All of the animals were either orphaned or raised in captivity and are not able to be released back to the wild.

This fish makes its home in deep water within the branches of black coral.They are relatively rare and difficult to photograph since they are camera shy.
